The NXT GEN Above Ground Meter Box (AGB) is an upgradeable, UV-stabilized polymer solution that revolutionises water metering with its innovative modular design. Featuring SABS Approved shut off valves, high-pressure resistance and a secure locking system, it enables effortless meter replacement, maintenance and upgrades through interchangeable meter modules – eliminating costly full meter box replacement. The removable top provides complete access for servicing, reducing downtime and labour costs while ensuring reliable long-term performance for residential water applications.
A polymer surface meter box complete with an N.R.C.S. approved Class C 15 or 20mm Polymer or DZR Brass volumetric water meter and high-quality SABS approved 20mm 3-way plastic trickle flow ball valve (Open/Closed/Trickle). The UV stabilised meter box lid overlaps the top sides of the meter box for additional strength. (Passed SABS Light Duty-7 strength tests in terms of SANS 1882: 2003.) The meter box is fitted with a clip-on base plate and sliding reinforced 20mm BSP inlet/outlet fittings keyed through the meter box wall to prevent meter rotation during installation.
UV-stabilized polymer above-ground meter box, 770mm high, comes pre-plumbed with a 15mm Class C polymer ASM volumetric rotary piston meter. It features 20mm fusion welded fittings and includes an internal high-quality plastic municipal elbow valve fitted upstream of the meter and an externally accessible SABS-approved 2-way consumer valve fitted downstream of the meter. The closed unit has a top cover which is secured by a patented tamper-proof lock that uses a unique key. The inlet/outlet fittings are 20mm BSP female with parallel threads.
